Kennedy Consulting

Every project undertaken by KCS comes under the direct guidance of president Craig Kennedy, who brings more than 25 years of management, technical, and consulting experience in planning, applications design and implementation, technical support, data base, telecommunications, procurement, and training in IBM and multi-vendor environments.

As a technical line manager for Fortune 500 companies, he hired, developed, and managed technical staffs effectively, completing all major projects on time while significantly reducing operating costs.

A recognized expert in planning and procurement, Mr. Kennedy has assisted large corporations, state agencies, and institutions of higher education from initial conceptualization, through requirements definition and alternatives evaluation, to acquisition and implementation.

He has assisted clients in determining direction and focus and has conducted a diverse range of requirement and feasibility studies. He wrote the Commonwealth of Virginia's first data processing procurement manual, led or participated in numerous evaluations, developed Requests for Proposals, and has been an invited speaker on evaluation topics at local, regional, and national conferences.

Mr. Kennedy earned a BA from the University of Virginia and an MBA in Information Systems from Virginia Commonwealth University. He is active in professional and civic organizations.
